Ja, hier klettert man noch auf Apfelbäume um Äpfel zu pflücken 🙂 und hier ist das sogar ein Tradition. Es gibt 3 Wochenenden im Jahr,wo alle Canadier auf Farmen fahren um Äpfel zu pflücken. Da durfte meine Gastfamilie & ich ja nicht fehlen. Jade,Lolo Coco, die Oma und der restliche Rentnerclub &ich waren Samstag also „aller aux pommes“ Mittlerweile bin ich eine richtige Apfelsorten-Expertin geworden. Hui gibt es viele verschiedene ! Kleine, große,grüne,rote bla bla. Haben insgesamt ca. 20 kg Äpfel gepflückt.
Das ist meine 2te Quebcois-Spezialitaet & heißt übersetzt „Biberschwanz“ 🙂
Eigentlich ist es nur ein Süßgebäck,was man mit allem möglichen essen kann. Wir haben Ahorn-Sirup gewählt. Canadier essen das Zeugs wirklich mit allem 🙂
auch wenn das jetzt nicht ganz zum Thema passt,aber das sind übrigens die Mädels mit denen ich letzte Woche im Kino war. Leider kam ich ne Stunde zu spät weil ich im falschen Bus saß. Dieses Bussystem ist aber auch kompliziert hier !

Romina-I am very envious. You are experiencing the most beautiful time of the year in Canada right now. Have you ever seen such colours? Only the sugar maple trees can put on such a grand show…and then to be able to make maple syrup lollis–wow. Yummy, don´t you think? Love to you.
